Christmas Angels
After last year’s success, M Computers employees wanted to make a smile on the face of the needy during Christmas Angels project also this year.
The second year of the project of Christmas Angels seniors of Czech Radio started at the beginning of November, when, after its overall success last year, an incredible 5500 wishes were booked in the first twelve hours since the project was launched! For this reason, the chance to be the Chritmas Angel for a particular home in our neighborhood has disappeared. So we decided to address local homes for the elderly. In the end, we chose a home for seniors from NADĚJE Foundation in Brno-Bohunice to give grandfathers and grandmothers.
About Naděje Foundation
This non-profit organization was founded as one of the first after 1989 and has 22 branches throughout the Czech Republic. It not only cares for the elderly, but also seeks to help homeless people, people with disabilities, vulnerable families or vulnerable children and youth.
Home for seniors Bohunice is intended for persons over 65 years of age who have a permanent residence in the South Moravian Region and need help with regular care that they would not provide themselves at home. It provides seniors with socio-nursing, therapeutic and activation and educational services.
Our help
With an incredibly nice response, we purchased, for example, a magazine subscription, an anti-stress coloring book or an electric aroma diffuser and a set of themed paintings for their home residents. Also this year we came to personally deliver gifts directly to home and we had the opportunity to see their joy.
